Idaho - "The Gem State"

Idaho is home to rugged individualists and spuds. If you can't find something to do, you haven't looked hard enough. Besides, it has the Bordello Museum!

idaho:).... as a child it was the most amazing place for me, i moved from california to idaho.. the "woods" in Sagle, then to priest lake. THE place to grow up. small town, friends,e everyone knew everyone, sledding parties on the lake in the winter, ice skating snowmobiling. Summer swimming, water skiing, bon fires on the lake shore. walking anywhere, at any tiem of day. Ice cream cones from the local lil "fast" food corner place
huge "family" Thanksgiving dinners... with a bunch of local families. running a restaurant! Idaho was awesome.
Lewiston?Clarkston area... the place most often referred to as home, my children were born there. another small town atmosphere, altho a little bigger. the snake and clearwater rivers. a beauty all its own. good people, dear friends.

Boise has many of the best restaurants I've ever been privileged to visit. You may not believe it, but it's true.

Also, Hell's Canyon and Craters of the Moon. (I've only seen the latter from an airplane, but it's pretty impressive.)
