Commonwealth of Puerto Rico - "John is his name"

Puerto Rico is located east of the Dominican Republic, between the Carribean and the Atlantic. It is divided into 78 municipalities and is home to the Arecibo Observatory.

Puerto Rico is definitely one of America's finest treasures. The Isle of Enchantment is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

What's not to love...

Walking through Old San Juan's cobbled stone streets on the way to El Convento, Old San Juan Cathedral, or El Morro.

Eating alcapurrias, pasteles, tostones, empanadas and bacalaitos while drinking coquito, mavi, Malta India, Coco Rico, and Orange Fanta.

El Condado, San Juan.
El Parque De Bombas, Ponce.
El Ladrillo Restaurant and La Plaza, Dorado.
El Yunque National Forest.
The Arecibo Observatory.

Walking on Dorado Beach from El Cerromar or the Dorado Beach Hyatt hotels.

Beautiful women and men everywhere scantilly-clad because the average yearly temperature is 78F.

The beaches--all of them. Crystal clear waters and white sands. Being able to stand in the water neck deep and see your feet.

Here are pictures from my last trip:

I can't wait to get back to my Viejo San Juan.
