Solonor's Ink Well

Where's Linus when you need him?

For the first time since I started going to church, Christmas falls on a Sunday this year. We're gonna have a late breakfast at church and an informal service at 11. I'm thinking, "Hey, this is kinda cool! Gives a little extra jazz to Christmas."

Well, apparently, some of the "megachurches" don't see it that way. If they can't have their full complement of 20,000 paying customers worshippers, then everyone can just stay home.

Yikes! Christmas service on a DVD! Pop that in on Christmas morning, and you'll feel just like you attended [mega]church. Next thing you know, they'll start accepting prepaid heaven tuition.

My church has services on Christmas morning whether it's a Sunday or not. Maybe we're just weird.

Sometimes even we heathens get confused about church. This is one of those times.....
