Bye, bye, Billie

Looks like Billie Piper is signing off as Rose Tyler at the end of the current season of Doctor Who (the current one running in the UK).

I liked Rose. I haven't seen her interaction with David Tennant (the current Doctor), but her interplay with the 9th Doctor, Christopher Eccleston, was great. At times she got a bit whiny (as most Who companions do), but mostly she was great as the viewer's proxy in a trip through time and space with a mercurial alien who seems to know everything one minute and doesn't know who he is the next. I think she did the likes of Sarah Jane, Leela and Romana proud.
