Guess I shoulda watched the Grammys...

I despise making "hey, I'm not dead" posts. No, seriously. I really, really, really don't want to waste your time with a post that apologizes for not posting and assuring you that I'm still alive just because I haven't been willing or able to think of something to post.

Besides, if you wanted to know if I were dead, you would have called or e-mailed me. I promise that if I were dead, I would have put you on my "to be haunted" list.

So, instead of wasting your time with such nonsense, go watch this video of some old guys begging a hooker to leave her profession:

I only call you when I think you've been done in by some sort of natural disaster that you Floridians are so famous for. :-p

So I'm hoping this is a link to the Police on the Grammys last night, but I can't tell since the connection here at work is horrible. And I missed the start of the Grammys due to one of those awful family committments, i.e. spending time with my son at Boy Scouts. The nerve....

And then I caught myself realizing that not only was I unhappy to have MISSED the Grammy's, but that you actually watched them, too. Strange, this middle-aged stuff...

Well, we don't get network TV anymore (the joy of Satellite TV is that I don't pay for packages I don't watch, and guess what I don't watch?) so I missed out on seeing The Police, which was the only thing on the Grammies I wanted to see.

It's gonna show up on line. You know it is.

As for "Nothing to Post About" -- Sol, doll, sweetie pie, darling! That has NEVER stopped you BEFORE ;)

I watched the Police...in glorious 50 inch high definition. It was awesome.

Then about five minutes later I switched the channel. I didn't recoginize anyone else on the show and I had to go yell at some kids on my lawn.

Did Jethro Tull win best heavy metal album? I love him.
