BBC and YouTube partner to bring short-form BBC content to online audiences

Excellent! The BBC is already putting clips and shorts on YouTube, including ones from Doctor Who.

YouTube has also set up a channel for officially-sanctioned videos from Presidential candidates and other politicians.

Much less whimsical, but nonetheless interesting.
