Eight Facts Out

Since I was tagged by Dave, by the laws of the mystic order of blogdom I am compelled to share with you these fascinating facts. Get some coffee and try to stay awake, ok? I'm sure I've posted more than one of these already at some point.

First, the ritual reading of the rules:

1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them each a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Ready?

1. FACT: I'm such a geek, that I was tempted to add "Rule Six, there is NO ... Rule Six. Rule seven, No Poofters!!"

3. HABIT: I sleep with the covers around my neck to ward off vampires.
4. FACT: I have never smoked a cigarette. Not even a tiny puff. I'm sure this is compensated for by 39 years of secondhand smoke from my father.
5. FACT: Tequila is the only alcoholic beverage that will make me barf. I can drink anything else and mix different things at will. Usually, I don't even get a hangover. But one drop of "to-kill-ya" will set me off like a busted fire hydrant of spewage.
6. HABIT: When I sneeze, I can't just "AH-CHOO!" and let it go. I have to make a big production out of it, starting with a cartoony "Ahh...ahhhhhh....ahhhhhhhh..." and ending with a cross between Jerry Lewis, the Three Stooges and a slow, sputtering outboard motor. (It's not something you can type.)
7. FACT: Solonor Rasreth is an old Dungeons & Dragons character of mine that I created over 20 years ago. If I play any kind of game where I need to name the character, I use that one. Thus, there was a Solonor running around City of Heroes and there's one now in Lord of the Rings Online. I'm sure there are Solonors all over the fricking place now.
8. HABIT: When a game asks for initials for the high score leaderboard, I always use "WHY".

See? That wasn't so tough. Now, to tag 8 others. That's tougher, because I don't know who has or hasn't already done this thing. Oh well...
