Solonor's Ink Well

July 20, 2007

It feels like a holiday

I got back from my road trip and decided to take today off, since I'm going to be in a mall reading the first chapter of a certain book to the assembled masses at midnight.

Mrs. Rasreth (the only one getting paid to dress up) is finishing up her Dolores Umbridge costume. Whiny is playing video games. Pepperkat is sleeping.

It's like Christmas in July!

Oh my, I can certainly see Mrs. R doing a fine Delores Umbridge.

I'll be chuckling at that thought all day now, hee hee.

Mama bear tells me we might be joining the throngs this evening. Wasn't on my original plan, but what the hey.

The kid and I will be heading over to the local B&N to do the same. I'm taking my knitting with me (socks...several individual and no pair kind of socks if you get what I mean nudge nudge wink wink)

Yes. Yes, it is. I keep waiting for UPS to bang on my door.

In the mean time, I'm re-reading HP6.

Another Potter freak... How cute. :-) I am not, but my man is, so we're heading to Borders at midnight. This is my first HP frenzy. Have fun reading the 7th book!

We just got back. The antiquated Mr. Paperback wasn't exactly swamped. Probably a hundred or so, maybe a few more, not bad. Very orderly operation, we were out real quick. (Dad went and paid, and stood in line while Mom and the kiddies went out in the mall and played the trivia contests and other assorted festivities.)

Now if I can only get a chance to read it! Fortunatley, the eldest evil spawn will finish it in a day, so then I just have to get it away from the younger of the two. Good problem to have. :)

You will have pics, won't you?

I waited until Saturday to get it and I finsihed the book at 12:20 on Sunday. Will you please hurry up and finish it too. I can't wait to talk about it with someone!
