Solonor's Ink Well

And finally, monsieur, a wafer Thin Mint...

It's the oddest things that creep up on you and make you feel old.

This is the first time since 1995 that we haven't been consumed with the activity of selling Girl Scout cookies.

Now, I'm gonna have to get my Peanut Butter Patty fix from the street dealers just like everyone else!

Weird. We're not selling them for the first time in a long time, either.

I sure will be buying them, just like always! Samoas for me.

My youngest son has several classmates that know his dad loves Girl Scout cookies, and can't seem to say no.
heh heh

(Though I look forward to the day when we stop selling Boy Scout popcorn, fer sure...a day that is 4-6 years away, methinks. Yikes! Wanna buy some?)

We had a minor celebration at the conclusion of this years middle-school fundraiser, knowing full well that is one we won't ever have to do again.

Every year I vow not to buy them.

Every year I break that vow.

Girl scout cookies, schmirl scout cookies. I know how to make cookies that taste just like thin mints, and it's easier than you think!
