Ya gotta larff

In the Democratic contenders debate in Nevada, the candidates were asked to identify their greatest weakness. Unfortunately, Obama got to go first, and also unfortunately he's an honest guy (or incredibly un-politician-like).

"I said, 'Well, I don’t handle paper that well. You know, my desk is a mess. I need somebody to help me file and stuff all the time.'

So the other two, they say, 'Well, my biggest weakness is I’m just too passionate about helping poor people. I am just too impatient to bring about change in America.'

If I had gone last I would have known what the game was. I could have said, 'Well, you know, I like to help old ladies across the street. Sometimes they don’t want to be helped. It’s terrible.'”

Every day I find myself liking this guy more and more.

I just had a candidate for a job in my office respond to that question with, "I care too much about students." I freakin' hate that. I mean, is it an actual problem for him? Like, does he start kissing and hugging them inappropriately because he cares so much? Does he stay awake nights worrying about them, making himself unfit to work the next day? Does he bring them home and make them dinner, or let them sleep over if they have a fight with their roommates? Has this been causing him marital problems?

Seriously, I am liking Obama more, too.
