Radical Surgery For Injured Hurler

Dol Guldur - Last week's season-ending injury to Dragons starter Sadish Koboldbasher will be treated in a bold new way, according to team doctor, Kang Fershluggamir. Flying in the face of traditional Orc healing methods, Dr. Fershluggamir said that Koboldbasher (2-1, 3.07 ERA) will undergo the famous Tommy Johnnibbler surgical procedure and should be ready to return for the start of the 2004 season.

"We do not see where the normal practice of leaving him for dead would be of any benefit to the team," said Dragons owner, Linkmeister. "If I'm going to pay him a million dollars anyway, I might as well get my money's worth."

Dol Guldur announced that they will promote Ulor Témir from the AAA farm team to take Koboldbasher's place on the roster.
