Homers A Premium In Numenor

NUMENOR - It doesn't look like too many baseballs will be finding their way into the River Siril this season, as the new King ownership seeks to shape its own destiny. The team owners have begun a $15 million project to add 5,000 seats and move the left field walls back in the newly christened Capitol One Stadium. When work is completed, the park will be 350 ft down the left field line, 360 ft to left field and 385 ft to left center. In addition, all of the left field walls and the center field wall will be raised to 19 feet high. While the possibility of more doubles and triples exists from giving the left and center fielders more ground to cover (as well as higher walls to bang into), home runs--especially for righties--should be down dramatically in Numenor home games.
