Imrilron, Lomebrildur Named MVP's
MIDDLE EARTH - Announcing the final awards for 2003, Commissioner Rasreth revealed the winners of the 2003 Aragorn Most Valuable Player Award. Wilderland's Isilborn Imrilron, winner of the Sam Gamgee Batter Award, was named Shire Conference MVP. Imrilron, an All-Star elf outfielder, batted .329 with a league-leading 55 homers and 123 RBI. He was named Player of the Week twice in 2003 and was the Batter of the Month for September. The Mordor Conference winner was elf-maiden Thaira "Goldie" Lomebrildur from the Mordor Mimes. The speedy center fielder hit 46 home runs this season, batting .320 with 114 RBI. She was named a Player of the Week, Mordor Batter of the Month in May, and was named to the 2003 All-Star squad.
