Bright Prospect For Rohan

By Kurmazh the Atrocious

ROHAN - The Rough Riders are looking to the future with 18-year-old Posco *Sackville. Fosco Baggins brought this rookie phenom with him from Buckland where he had been coaching him as a shortstop. Fosco knew that this kid could step in and fill Rohan's hole at the shortstop position. Scouts that have taken a look at him in the off-season say he has an abundance of talent. He could already be a quality contributor in the majors.

Posco shows outstanding balance at the plate and has a smooth, classic stroke that you see in the game's best hitters. The longball is really not his game. He may poke a couple out of the yard, but don't expect him to do it often. He's a speed burner, too, and will steal a few bases along the way. Where he really shines is in the field. Sackville is a spectacular shortstop. He has incredible range and soft hands.
