Bounding to the Top

Bywater
By Merimas Tussock

BYWATER - An average 3-3 week may not seem that good, but going on recent Bounder form, the team is pretty happy with the result. That said, the team's biggest rivals both managed to pull further ahead, with Wilderland and Bucklebury going 4-2 and 5-1 respectively. With a 9 game lead and the best record in the league, it seems unlikely that Bywater will catch the Wargs anytime soon, which leaves the team concentrating mainly on a wildcard entry into the playoffs. A task which itself seems harder and harder given the recent run of form by Bucklebury.

The Bounders seem almost back to themselves this week though; with especially strong performances from Dryadpoker (player of the game twice this week), Elralbo (7R, 1 HR, 3RBI and 1PoG) and Radigast (who set himself a new career hitting streak with 14) leading the way. Although Saugol Radeoman did nothing to help squash the rumours about his future when he conceed 4 runs in the 10th inning against Silvan. The former Bag End hotshot simply hasn't settled in Bywater, and there have been many calls for his dismissal, as he has repeatedly failed to show any of the talent that bought him to the team.
