More Contract Signings
NUMENOR - The Numenor Kings reached agreement with outfielders Sarawyn Radaden and Gruugor Earchewer, extending their contracts for the future. Radaden, who is batting .226 with 9 HR and 40 RBI, was signed for $3.7 million for the next 3 years. Earchewer (.288, 13 HR, 34 RBI) gets a $5 million annual salary for the next 4 seasons.
MORDOR - Third baseman Gorauden Geomli signed a new contract with the Mimes worth $4.2 million per season for the next 4 years. Geomli is batting .287 this season with 6 HR and 58 RBI.
BREE - The Cheese picked up the option on Vruugak "Strangler" Throatshaker, offering the reliever $1.25 million for the next 3 years. Strangler is struggling this season with a 8.20 ERA in 13 appearances, but he was 2-2 with a 1.17 ERA in AAA.
MORIA - Digging into their wallets, the Miners are spending big bucks for Burt Axetorturer. The outfielder, who won the Shire Conference Legolas Fielder Award in 2003, is batting .274 with 14 HR and 56 RBI. Moria offered him $3.45 million for 3 years.
RIVENDELL - The Royals joined the line of teams making contract extensions, signing Thurzava Sáng for $5.5 million per season over the next 3 years. All-Star outfielder Sáng, who led the League in hitting last season (.357) and owns the record for the League's longest hitting streak (25), is currently batting .305 with 11 HR and 53 RBI.
