Dagorlad Breaks Silence

By Ghazlakh the Abominable

Urkhal, Dagorlad (DPC) - With ten games to clinch their division, Dagorlad management explained the team's silence throughout the season. "Curse prevention," Urkhal Olsen, team spokesman, whispered. "Can't be too careful, don't you know. After the weird events earlier this season, everyone decided to not speak to anyone about the team. Even our wives." Olsen attributed the team's vow of silence as the main reason for the team's success. "Everyone concentrated on the game more and on everything else less. I mean, what else can you do if you can't talk?"

Olsen did not reply to questions about the team's inability to sign slugger Gamilas Eowil-Galad or why the team signed so many free-agents to one-year contracts. In response to the questioning, Olsen pressed his thumb and forefinger together, dragged them across his lips and then made a throwing motion over his left shoulder. No more questions could be spoken as all the reporters present found themselves unable to speak.
