Lake Town gets Belaraviel

Minas Morgul

LAKE TOWN - The race for the Shire Conference Hobbit Division just got hotter, as the Archers acquired superstar Arweogast Belaraviel from Silvan in a blockbuster trade. Trading buzz has been hot on Belaraviel since Silvan ownership put him on the block this past week, with several teams keen on adding the potential Hall of Famer to their lineup.

In exchange for the first baseman, Lake Town sent all-around outfielder Timothy Kyler, starting pitcher Geagast Gamialob, and third baseman Sifur Silvermaster to the Rangers. Kyler has incredible range and can play any outfield position. He has been mainly used as a utility man for the Archers. Gamialob had a disastrous rookie season, going 1-10 in 13 starts with a 9.10 ERA, but he is only 22 and shows bright promise. Silvermaster was Lake Town's number 1 draft pick in 2004. He shows brilliant potential as a future slugger, and can steal a few bases, too.
