Weathertop Owner Fires Himself!

WEATHERTOP - After a dismal 5-17 start, including 10 straight losses at home, the Witch Kings have decided to shake things up, starting at the top. Team owner, Peat, will no longer manage the team directly. Instead, he has named Ghandolf Jenkins as interim until a permanent manager can be found. Working with Jenkins, he sent several players, including 19-year-old rookie starter Robert *Plant (0-3, 6.14 ERA), Smealas Sheoma (1-2, 7.36 ERA), reliever Ronald Morgan (0-1, 11.81 ERA) and third baseman Smama "Dr. Focus" Shauma (.115, 1 HR, 2 RBI), down to the AAA Hobbiton Halflings. Returning to the bigs are Borewyn Celäwyn (who appeared in 53 games as a reliever last season), starters Gosin Forgemaster and Nesil Ringarm. Rookie third baseman Edgardo Cardenas gets his first shot at the majors, as well.
