Goragol and Graniteslinger win Player of the Week award
MIDDLE EARTH - The Shire Conference's best player of the week was Carrock's Greogrin Goragol, who wins the award for the 4th time in his career. He hit .600 with 9 RBI and slugged 1.200 in 25 at bats. The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Minas Morgul's Valin Graniteslinger this time, as the first baseman displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Valin pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .500 with 5 HR and 10 RBI while slugging 1.143. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 11 game hitting streak right now. Valin is hitting .321 this year, with 44 hits in 137 at bats. He has driven in 31 runs, slugging .723. He's 8th in the Mordor Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 2nd in RBI!

INJURY NEWS
NUMENOR - Sarawyn Radaden was injured while running the bases. Diagnosis: Strained Abdominal Muscle. He will be OK in about one week.

DOL GULDUR - Hifur Goblintooth was injured while running the bases. Diagnosis: Strained Posterior Cruciate Ligament. He is out for about 4-5 weeks.

LAKE TOWN - Boraimli Bilas was injured while pitching. Diagnosis: Ruptured Bicep Tendon. He will be OK in about 5 weeks.

BREE - Beama Belil-Gariand was injured while pitching. Diagnosis: Tight Elbow. He will be OK in about 1-2 weeks.
