MIDDLE EARTH - The Mordor Conference has won the 2005 All-Star Game, 5-2. After losing the 2003 exhibition, the Mordor stars have taken the last two in a row.

Mordor jumped out to an early lead in the top of the 1st, when Gamilas Eowil-Galad sent a ball 411 feet to deep center for a 2-run homer off Shire Conference starter, Boreathor Boraulf. In the next inning, Mordor scored 2 more when Phantina Föriand and Disil Axesmith scored on a single by Mauhur the Looter. Thaira Lómebrildur scored on a sac fly by Gobur Foetooth to give the Shire its only run until the 9th, making the score 4-1.

The Shire made it exciting in the 9th when with 2 outs Valin Graniteslinger scored off a double by Lumtina Elväwen. Then, Elväwen made it 5-3, coming home on a single by Silas Debuuger. The loser, Boraulf. Eowil-Galad was named Player of the Game.
