Archers Take Hobbit Division Flag
WILDERLAND - The Lake Town Archers secured a spot in the playoffs on September 19 by defeating the Wargs at Wilderland. In a matchup of the top 2 pitchers in Wins, Lake Town's Gandogast Fadrier earned his 8th straight victory, pulling even with Wilderland's Libur Irontwister at 21 wins. Later in the week, Fadrier pulled ahead and now has a League-best 22-5 record. Silas Debuuger, filling in at third for the injured Tigthor Tändel, was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Player of the Week honors go to Nilad and Bugprodder
MIDDLE EARTH - Lake Town's catcher Thuralia Nilad had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. Nilad helped his team with an average of .474 and 9 RBI in 19 at bats. He now has homered in 3 consecutive games as well! While compiling an on base percentage of .477, Thuralia hit .341 and slugged .597. He has collected 98 runs batted in this year. He's 4th in the Shire Conference in batting! The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Erinai Bugprodder, Dol Guldur's starting catcher. Erinai was on fire, hitting .391 with 3 HR and 7 RBI. Bugprodder has walked 31 times this year and posts a .295 OBP. While batting .248, 121 for 488, he has driven in 62 runs.

Grey Havens Loses Isadriel
WEATHERTOP - Grey Havens lost a key weapon in their aresenal as they make their playoff run when reliever Soseen Isadriel was hurt in a game on September 23. Isadriel was 6-0 with a 3.10 ERA and 1 save in 43 games this season.
