For Drowslammer, revenge is sweet

BUCKLEBURY - For Gogak Drowslammer, his 1-hitter on April 24 against the Fairies was not just a masterful pitching performance. It was some measure of poetic justice. Traded just a week earlier by the Bree Cheese to Gondolin, the 34-year-old is out to prove to his old owner and to the league that he's not dead yet. "I busted my ass for 3 years for those ingrates," the 2-time All-Star said. "And what do I get the first time I get injured? Traded! I won 19 games 2 years in a row. It ain't right." It doesn't take much pressing to get the feisty orc to open up about his former team. "I can't wait to face 'em," he said. "And I'll tell you another thing. I ain't goin' into the Hall wearin' no Cheese hat, neither!"
