Dragons Deal Dill

Dol Guldur

DOL GULDUR - The Dragons have traded their 1st round pick in this year's draft, Thomas Dill, to the Marauders in a 3-for-1 swap. Dill, 18, was a highly sought after outfielder this season. He doesn't have much range, yet, but he is a potential slugging star. Going to Dol Guldur in the deal are pitchers Tuudrak Ogrepoker and Shahil Saraudur and first baseman Purk Humanraper. Ogrepoker, 33, has bounced all around the league since being picked 18th by Lonely Mountain (Bucklebury) in 2003. He signed 1-year deals with Dead Marshes in 2004, Old Forest in 2005, and Mirkwood this season. Saraudur, 30, was Dunharrow's 30th choice in 2003 before being traded to Mirkwood in 2004. Neither pitcher (both relievers) has seen a lot of major league action. Humanraper on the other hand has been a fairly regular player for the Marauders over the past 3 seasons. His career average is .287. Never much of a power threat, Humanraper has had three 5-hit games and drove in 6 runs against Silvan (Gondolin) in a game in 2004.
