Foetooth (MIR) and Elfprodder (MM) Batters of the Month in April
MIDDLE EARTH - Mirkwood's third baseman Gobur Foetooth had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Batter of the Month. Gobur went 37 for 95 (.389), while hitting 8 HR and collecting 29 RBI. Misty Mountain's rightfielder Hudash Elfprodder had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month. Hudash was on fire, hitting .367 with 7 homeruns and 25 RBI.
Bree's Arwodur, Rohans's Celāldor earn Pitcher of the Month award for April
MIDDLE EARTH - Winner of this months Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month award is Bree's Ban Arwodur. He struck out 27 hitters in his 7 starts, putting together a record of 7-0 while pitching 27 innings. His ERA in April was 2.95. Rohan's Dejria Celāldor had a terrific April, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. His ERA of just 1.12 helped him to a 5-0 record in April. He worked 40.1 innings, striking out 30 hitters while walking 18. Dejria also fired a shutout.
Imreogorn, Elfprodder win Player of the Week award
MIDDLE EARTH - Iseolf Imreogorn from Wilderland wins his 3rd Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Shire Conference. Iseolf went 12 for 23 (.522), while hitting 1 HR and collecting 6 RBI. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 8 games. The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Hudash Elfprodder, Misty Mountain's starting rightfielder. Elfprodder helped his team with an average of .526 and 9 RBI in 19 at bats.
