Goramir signs major deal with Titans

MINAS TIRITH - After lengthy negotiations, the Titans announced that they have settled on a new contract with superstar Grimli Goramir. The deal will keep the 3-time All-Star in Minas Tirith for the next 5 years. Sources close to the dwarven infielder say that the package is worth $100 million.
Goramir, 28, was the first pick of the Cirith Ungol Spiders and one of the first breakout stars of the league in 2003. On April 7 of that year, he had what may be the greatest single game hitting performance in league history. In that game, he had 5 hits, including 3 homeruns, and set league records with 11 RBI and 6 runs scored. He is among the career leaders in hits, homers, RBI, doubles and runs scored.
