Marauders-Bounders Trade

MIRKWOOD - In the last week before the All-Star break, Mirkwood and Bywater made a major player swap, sending a pair of one-time All-Stars to new homes. Going from Mirkwood to Bywater is right fielder Kogar "Cap" Facedragger and left-handed starter Wuulak Wolfshaker in exchange for starting pitcher, Grikak "Treehugger" Dryadpoker. It's the second time this season that the 2004 MVP Facedragger has been traded. In April, he was dealt from Bucklebury to Mirkwood where he fared poorly, hitting only .138 in May and .244 in June. The same is true of the minor leaguer, Wolfshaker, who was acquired by Mirkwood in a trade with the Fairies in February. Dryadpoker, a 2-time All-Star and owner of one of the League's no-hitters, has had trouble winning with the Bounders this season, posting a 7-7 record and a 4.75 ERA.
