Career Over for League's Only Ent Player
WILDERLAND - The mighty Red Bark has been felled by a mysterious injury that spells the end of the line for the League's first Entish player. Bark was signed by the Wargs at the start of the League in 2003. Even though he possessed great power, most scouts thought him too slow to play in the field regularly. Red proved the critics wrong in 2005, winning a Legolas Fielder Award at first base. The team had no further comment about Bark's injury or rumors that the Ent may have been despondent after the new team owner decided to cut him from the team .
