Gollailob (WIL) and Chubb (MIN) win P.O.W. award
MIDDLE EARTH - The Shire Conference's best player of the week was Wilderland's Gorema Gollailob, who wins the award for the 3rd time in his career. In 21 at bats he hit .524 with 3 HR and 6 RBI. Gollailob has hit 27 taters this year while batting .256. He adds 17 doubles, along with 68 runs scored. He's 9th in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 6th in homeruns! Tanta Chubb wins her 1st Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this gal all week long. Chubb helped her team with an average of .500 and 7 RBI in 26 at bats. Chubb has hit 6 homeruns this year while batting .288. He adds 11 doubles, along with 15 runs scored.
Rivendell's Boraulf earns Pitcher of the Month award for July
RIVENDELL - Winner of this months Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month award is Rivendell's Boreathor Boraulf. He started 5 games in July, going 4-1 and compiling an ERA of 2.11 in 42.2 innings. Boreathor fanned 26 hitters. Boreathor pitched a shutout as well. This season Boraulf compiled an ERA of 2.17, going 13-5 in 21 starts. He fanned 155 while giving up 141 hits in 174 innings. He has 9 complete games and 5 shutouts. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in ERA and 3rd in wins!
Stinkblossom (MM) wins Mordor Pitcher of the Month
MISTY MTN - Misty Mountain's pitcher Tanta Stinkblossom is the Mordor Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in July. She started 6 games in July, going 5-1 and compiling an ERA of 0.58 in 46.2 innings. Tanta fanned 44 hitters. Tanta fired two shutouts! This season Stinkblossom compiled an ERA of 2.30, going 13-5 in 25 starts. She fanned 136 while giving up 102 hits in 168 innings. She has 2 complete games and 2 shutouts. Lake Town's Debuugger earns Batter of the Month award
LAKE TOWN - The Shire Conference's best player of the month was Lake Town's Silas Debuugger, who wins the award for the 2nd time in his career. He hit .386 with 32 RBI and slugged .716 in 88 at bats. Debuugger has hit for a .343 average this season. He has 55 extra base hits along with 253 total bases, resulting in a .632 slugging percentage. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 3rd in homeruns and 1st in RBI!
Nazgul (DUN) wins Mordor Batter of the Month
DUNHARROW - The Mordor Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Theodore Nazgul, Dunharrow's starting centerfielder. Teddy was on fire, hitting .370 with 6 homeruns and 26 RBI. He has hit 13 bombs while batting .359 this season. His 99 hits and 28 walks add up to a .418 on-base percentage.
