Uruk-hai under new management
DEAD MARSHES - With her busy schedule, the owner of the Dead Marshes Uruk-hai, Pippa, has decided to sell the team. A buyer was immediately found in millionaire playboy, Loki. Loki takes over a team that, while slipping a bit this season, has made it to the playoffs as the Orc Division champion twice in the last 3 seasons. In 2003, they lost the Fellowship Series to Misty Mountain, 4-2, and last season they fell to Grey Havens in 7 games. The team is not without its problems, however, as it has the 3rd highest payroll in baseball, and in May their star player, Mauhur the Looter, was put out of commission for the season with a ruptured disc in his back. Currently, the team is 51-52, 7 games behind Grey Havens.
