Legilmaldor signs with Disaster
DAGORLAD - Tavlla Legilmaldor, the first baseman for the Dagorlad Disaster, has agreed to a new contract that will pay him $72 million over 4 years. This puts Tavlla, 33, into the top 10 highest paid players in the league. The 2nd round pick of the Disaster in 2003, he was an All-Star that season, hitting .343 with 40 HR and 106 RBI. In April 2004, an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season, and his subsequent years have not been quite so productive. This season, he is batting .273 with 13 HR and 49 RBI for the Troll Division leaders.
