Legindil Retires

Dunharrow
DUNHARROW - After 17 years of playing professional baseball (the last 4 in the SGCBL), Tavoja Legindil has retired. Legindil was the 2003 Sam Gamgee Batter and made the first two Mordor All-Star Teams. He was the 2nd pick of the Mordor Mimes in 2003 and went on to hit .343 with 45 HR and 127 RBI that year. He is the only Mordor Conference player to have hit 3 HR in a game twice. In 2005 he was traded to Bree, where he set the Shire Conference record for the longest hitting streak at 25 games. Last season he returned to the Mordor Conference when the Cheese traded him to Dunharrow. If he had joined the league at a younger age, it is estimated that he would have hit 500 HR.
