Swearing off the free agent market?

MINAS MORGUL - Perhaps ignoring the free agent market is too strong a term, but the Slayers, after again being snubbed despite making mounds of offers to players, is feeling rather frustrated, especially their owner. "People wonder why our payroll is low? Well I cleared it to make room for prospects and their extensions and, at least I thought, to give us a chance at getting some bigger name players or decent number of solid players to added to our slow growing prospects." K.L. said. "But I guess that never is going to happen. So it looks like it will be finding trade opportunities like with Elvywyn and/or just staying with our draft and develop plan."
The team did get one free agent, a catcher by the name of Dung Brainchoker. Aside from the rather disturbing images this name conjures, he looks to be a solid catcher at least. Aside from that, the team might put in more offers in probably a false hope of picking up some more talent. The team placed many more offers on players on Day 2 and some think the trend will continue on Day 3 if there's some more solid talents to pick up. Otherwise, the team will be looking ahead to the ammy draft and looking our for possible trade opportunities as teams open up their preseason trade blocks.
