Murder rumors surface in death of Titans star

MINAS TIRITH - A tragic development in the sports world today as word comes from the front office of the Minas Tirith Titans of the death of Titans shortstop Beleg Orctrembler. A tearful team meeting was followed by a brief press conference in which Orctrembler's passing was announced along with the information that the Titans will wear the number 14 on their jerseys in honor of the young dwarf.
Circumstances surrounding Orctrembler’s death are still sketchy, and numerous rumors and theories are being suggested. Titans Manager, Andoren Fastbinder, angrily dismissed a report that Orctrembler had been battling a substance abuse problem since being called up to the Majors. "That kid was a clean and pure as the driven snow," Fastbinder snapped at a reporter from the Tirith Times who had speculated that those reports might have been validated by this untimely death. "The only thing I have to say right now is that Beleg was a true professional, a great kid to be around, and a hell of a ballplayer. I don’t know how they did this, or if we’ll ever prove it, but they’ll never get away with it. This is now a blood feud."
Immediately after this statement Fastbinder returned to the locker room to be with his players. Fastbinder's last statement appears to be in reference to the
unconfirmed report that Orctrembler's body was found without any wounds,
without the room being disturbed at all. The only thing out of the ordinary, according to these early reports, was that a piece of cheese was out on the table by itself. A piece of Brie cheese.
