Desperate Stars Dabble in Doubtful Magic

GREY HAVENS - Joining the chorus of teams searching for clues to the "Brie Murders" the Stars owner, Arwen, has enlisted the services of a wizard from the courts at Posstilium. Unfortunately, so far all this has done is stretched the Grey Havens budget to its limit. In addition to the magician and his pet dragon, someone calling himself "Ahas" has arrived on the scene. He claims to be a "demon hunter" and promises to solve the case within a week. So far, all he has done is add to the payroll by producing yet two more investigators. He claims to have pulled them from another dimension, calling them "Holmes" and "Watson" as if it were supposed to mean something important. Commissioner Rasreth has urged all team owners to remain calm and to avoid wasting money on crackpots and charlatans such as these.

ed. note: After this story was published, the identity of the new detectives was clarified to be Hildagard Holmesburrow and Jonah Watson of Deephallow. We have also learned that Ahas is currently the subject of an investigation in Gondor, where he has been accused of fraud and misuse of magic.
