Diary of Samsneed, Part 7

Old Forest Times
This is part VII of the series of publications by detective Samsneed, heroic legendary amazingly awesome ranger of justice. In part VI, Samsneed promised a resolution to Middle Earth murders
BREE - I walked outside the house belonging to Sgt. Grump. Standing before me was a crazed Elf, wearing no shirt, with half his body painted blue. "It was me!" he shouted. "I was the one who did all the murders. I confess!"
I knew it had been him all along. My great sleuthing and detective work had led me to this moment in time. "Surrender, fool!" I said commandingly.
He promptly fell to his knees. I picked him up by the scruff of his hair and led him to the courts of justice. The western hills of the shire are lovely at this time of year. I think I'll go there for a while. I need a vacation.
The End, Justice Prevailed, Etc. Etc.
So concludes the Official Adventures of Samsneed the ranger!
Editor's note: soon after this entry was submitted, we received a recording detailing the events within Grump's house, ending in an entirely different manner from Samsneed's final entry. However no one has been able or willing to confirm its authenticity. We shall publish it in transcript form in the near future
