Cheese Star Fires Back

Bree
BREE - Despite being the only player to have won the Aragon MVP Award in both the Shire and Mordor Conferences, Bree outfielder Thaira Lómebrildur has been facing criticism for her declining abilities. The elven superstar, who's age in human terms is now 35, is only hitting .254 this season. Recently, Cheese management fueled trade rumors, placing her temporarily on the trading block. A visibly angry Lómebrildur fired off a letter to the Bree organization:

Date: Tuesday, 5/17/2007
Subject: So you want to get rid of me...
...fine. This is how you treat a player who loves her team. Whatever. I'm upset!

Regards,
Thaira Lómebrildur

The team was quick to point out that they removed her name from consideration almost immediately, but it did nothing to soothe the tension between them.

Meanwhile, rumors have been circulating that Lómebrildur's decline might be part of the ongoing saga in the Bree Murders. Some speculate that she is slowly being poisoned.
