Stars investigation proceeding slowly
GREY HAVENS - The following is a narrative from an anonymous writer. It chronicles the ongoing investigation into the Bree Murders as undertaken by the ownership of Grey Havens. MESN is unable to vouch for the accuracy of the account, but we present it in its original form.
Arwen walked into the team locker room, after hearing a smoke alarm in the office. She found the dragon of her majician asleep .... in its breathing small flames kept igniting and going out, making the shower doors smolder!
Where is everyone?
Looking around, she finds half her team eating a catered spread of gourmet delights....It seems Ahaz had something delivered for the team... Nice of him....
The other half were asleep too full to move....
Where's the majician... I need a word or two with him...she asked the big green , thinking.... what are you????...and "where exactly is your homeland, Ahaz"...choosing her words carefully , No sense making this "guy?" angered...
I don't really recollect now, it isn't that I didn't know it, I haven't been there since a lad. But, I am a prefect.... Ah! It must be prefectia... then yeah that's it!
Arwen muttered.... at least you know where your from then don't you dear....
She walked out, stormed the stadium and found the little wizard sulking in a small dark hallway....
He just sat on the floor and Arwen realized he wasn't all that big, and he wasn't all that old.... Why he was only about 6 - 7 years old!!!...
It was a magic disguise spell I stole it from Gandalf the grey...
it only works a short time I had it on for about 5 years and I can't do it any more, I know I'll get killed by Ahaz... he hates it when he's tricked... He doesn't know either, I have only known him for about 2 years...
I just wanted to play in Baseball, and then I heard about TOLKIEN BASEBALL, it's legendary! and then this brie killer and I thought it would be a great foolery if I could manage to pull off a way to catch this killer.... I am lucky if I don't get killed my self.
My spell ran out, I'm stuck here, the great oaf that is constantly hungry is stuck here....
and my dragon won't even talk to me anymore... he's so disappointed in me.
Holmes and Watson were with me when the spell ran out, and they laughed , and laughed and then skipped out on me... and said grow up kid and face the music.
Great.... now I am going to look real good to the commissioner of Baseball.... Arwen shook her head, trying to think of a solution....
Okay, well, This is where we start....
We will make the team mascot, the dragon, the green guy, has to go, and you can learn about Baseball >>>> maybe even grow up a little and play on a team, then pay me to let you play on my team, do you know how much gold your costing me???
But, First Ahaz... let's go and find him, and send him packing....clean up the locker room, and pen the dragon outside, get you some clothes that fit, and ......
She walked with the little boy with big ideas, and talked, and talked and talked..... planning her next strategy.....
Taking the little boy to her office, she marched out and walked into the locker room with her team laying all over some asleep, Everbody UP!!... team I said UP!!!
Out on the field NOW!
We are going to do some practice and field work!!!!
"Ahaz". Arwen said, as she started, shaking his big green hand.... Looking him, straight in the eye, "it was a great plan in theory but it just didn't work out, nothing has been accomplished except my life savings being dwindled down to I am amazed to say it, HALF!!! No hard feelings that you didn't deliver on our deal, so you will be getting my bill for all the work you failed to do so far........ please leave by the end of the day... Oh my look at the time ... it is the end of the day.... well, guess this is good bye."
Where's that majician??? Bellowed Ahaz...
Arwen said sweetly, "Oh he said, he'd like to meet up with you in the bazaar and you could settle up with him there, he said you'd know, for the gold you give me now....
That's 23mil.... BTW..." The green in his skin, turning dark red, as she spoke...." You don't have a problem with your debts do you, remember the agreement was every pence recovered if you don't deliver....What's that the offer you made and the contract you and Sleeve signed right here yes???
She followed Ahaz to the back room in which Ahaz had been staying with Sleeve....
To the Amazement of Arwen Ahaz pulled out a big sack of gold.... then 2 then 3 ,..... he left 8 bags on the bed, and pulled out his dimension tool and "poof" disappeared without another word... a burp, she thought but not a word....
After going into the office, toting all the gold with some of the players she counted out 46 mil.....the rest of the team she had practicing the game.... working off the food induced sleep ..........
Took her most of the evening, to count it out, but she then sat and looked it over... it was pretty....She was pleased with herself.....Could've been ugly... but that Ahaz, a decent fellow by all counts....
Sleeve then explained.... yes, Ahaz is a very honorable prefect.... double your money if not satisfied....that's his motto.....
Hee hee I can get some new players??? Wonder if the commish will let me.....Oh, I told him you'd like to meet up with him at the bazaar.... what is that anyway....???
Oh good, Sleeve sighed...
He can't come back to this dimension in 50 years....
It is a defective fault with that traveler device he's got .... but then, again.... I am stuck here....with you, I guess.
As he smiled and looked dreamily into Arwens eyes...
She looked away, How old are you anyway?
Depends, I have been in worlds that keep you from aging in the normal sense, so I am about 16... but I have the body of a boy of 7.............
