Wargs-Dragons Trade Players

WILDERLAND - News from Wilderland today of a deal that will send closer Tavzava Legithraviel to Dol Guldur for outfielder Holfast Cotton. Legithraviel (1-3, 8 SV, 3.86 ERA) will immediately fill the spot left vacant by the injured Mogdush Ghoulslobberer. Meanwhile, the Wargs get a speedy young prospect who has already shown he knows how to hit homeruns.

Legithraviel, 32, was the 15th pick of the Bag End Bombers (Gondolin) in 2003 and toiled as a middle reliever for 2 seasons before being signed by Wilderland to an $8 million deal in 2005.

Cotton, 24, was a slugger for the AA Lithlad Lambas for 3 seasons, hitting 118 HR and driving in 332 runs. He was promoted to the major leagues last season and hit just .204, but he had 24 HR and 70 RBI for the club. He was second in the Shire Conference with 11 triples, as well.
