"Goldie" Extends contract. Elvywyn signs as well.

Minas Morgul was relieved to hear that Thaira Lómebrildur, the venerable outfield lady, will indeed sign on for more years at her original franchise.

Thaira "Goldie" Lómebrildur signed a 4 year extension worth a total of about 32 million gold (average salary of just over 8 million gold per year). This will likely keep the outfielder with the team through her retirement.

Also signing an extension is the somewhat disappointing Myrtai Elvywyn. Elvywyn got a similiar contract in per year value, but for one fewer years at 3 years and about 24 million gold total, marking a slight pay raise over his current wage.

The moves are thought to establish some stability around the clubhouse while the ever-changing situation involving the younger players continues. "Goldie" is currently on the DL, while Elvywyn has 18 HR and 42 RBI, but is batting just .226.
