2007 MVP Awards Announced

MIDDLE EARTH - An unsurprising result in the Shire Conference and a surprisingly close race in Mordor marks this season's Aragorn MVP awards. Loopy Squishmasher of Rivendell was the clear winner in the Shire, beating out teammate Boreathor Boraulf for the title. Squishmasher, the Royals third baseman, hit .345 with 45 HR and 130 RBI and was earlier named the Sam Gamgee Batter. Other first place vote-getters were Bucklebury's Scarlett Mawaan and Thauthor Smeand of Mirkwood.

In the Mordor Conference, the winner for the third straight season is Grukak Dwarfcrawler of Grey Havens. The Stars third baseman narrowly beat teammate Golligast Gandulbo and Sam Gamgee Batter winner, Isilborn Imrilron of Misty Mountain. Isengard's Boran Armormasher also received first place votes. Dwarfcrawler is the first 3-time MVP in the league. This season, Grukak hit .313 with 35 HR and 125 RBI.
