Free Agents Change Picture for Some Teams
MIDDLE EARTH - While there were few marquee names in the free agent pool this off-season, one player did generate a ton of interest. Fabur "The Apostle" Beardcutter, the 28-year-old starting pitcher, was the main goal for most teams. Beardcutter, the 1st player picked by Dunharrow in 2003 and the league's career leader in opponent batting average (.205), was finally signed to a $23 million, 5-year deal by the Bucklebury Fairies.
