Wargs Take Hernandez as 1st Pick
WILDERLAND - The Wilderland Wargs used their 1st round pick in the 2008 amateur draft to select first baseman, Dennis Hernandez. Hernandez, 22, is a powerful right-hander with tremendous speed. Scouts say he is ready to play in the big leagues! The team gave him a $2.97 million bonus.
