Nuukor Gnomekicker stars with cycle against Carrock
CARROCK - Lake Town's rightfielder Nuukor Gnomekicker once again displayed his tremendous ability to make contact with that little white ball. He tore up Carrock's pitching staff with a 5 hit performance on April 23. A single in the 1st off Nilcair Nilcarion accounted for his 1st hit. Hit number 2 followed in the 3rd inning, a RBI triple. Number 3 in the 5th inning accounted for a double. A single in the 7th off Feli Beardworker accounted for his 4th hit. His 5th hit, a two-run homerun off Feli Beardworker in the 8th inning, cleared the fence in center field. That drive completed the cycle, causing a smile on his face! Nuukor did drive in 4 while scoring one run on his own. He's having a very good season so far, batting .377. He's now the 16th player in league history to hit for the cycle! Hoisil Goldfist of Weathertop was the last player to hit for the cycle, doing it 7/31/2007.
