MISTY MTN - Less than a year after pulling the trigger on the blockbuster trade that brought Isilborn Imrilron to the Mordor Conference, management of the team decided it was time to prepare for the future, and realized that Imrilron was their number one resource. After tentative feelers, The Witch King of Angmar got serious with Minas Morgul, hammering out a deal that ended up looking like this:
Isilborn Imrilron, the best hitter of his generation, and catcher Phaitina Fandir for starting pitcher prospects Avila Avila (so nice they named her twice), Athor La'Lin, left fielder Marigold Aenoa and Minas Morgul's first round pick in the 2009 draft.
Said Imrilron upon hearing the news, "Ah well, that's the way it goes. It's weird, being labeled the Hitter of The Generation, yet being moved so many times. I guess my strengths are what make me marketable."
In return for Imrilron, the Hops receive players who will address a number of glaring issues, long term, plus the man who Imrilron will be replacing. Aenoa, when asked what it felt like to be traded for Imrilron said, "Ya know what? Good. I'm just glad I'm goin' where I'm 'preciated!"
