Gondolin's Alrond DiSantolin has great day with six hits

BYWATER - Gondolin's shortstop Alrond DiSantolin once again displayed his tremendous ability to make contact with that little white ball. He tore up Bywater's pitching staff with a 6 hit performance on June 14. His 1st hit was a two-run double off Kilin Hammerback in the 1st inning. Number 3 in the 4th inning, a shot estimated at 395 feet, cleared the wall in left-center. In the 5th inning he unloaded a two-run homerun off Moisil Orecrusher. He collected singles in the 3rd inning , in the 7th and in the 9th . Alrond scored 4 runs, and he collected 5 RBI as well! His 6 hit performance increases his batting average to .268. The final score of the game was 14-8. His is only the 4th 6-hit game in league history. The last one came from Bree's Kobur Hammermaker on 6/4/2006.
