Squishmasher and Gwildur win Player of the Week award

MIDDLE EARTH - The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Loopy Squishmasher, Rivendell's starting third baseman. He hit .444 with 10 RBI and slugged .778 in 27 at bats. His season numbers are: .365 AVG, 103 hits, 19 doubles, one triple and 16 homeruns, along with 61 RBI and 53 runs scored. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 8th in homeruns and 4th in RBI! Numenor's first baseman Imredoc Gwildur had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. He hit .333 with 11 RBI and slugged .958 in 24 at bats.
