Batter of the Month winners for June announced

MIDDLE EARTH - The Shire Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Mefur Orcdelver, Gondolin's starting third baseman. Mefur pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .405 with 8 and 24 RBI while slugging .676. Orcdelver has hit 15 bombs this year while batting .307. He adds 13 doubles, along with 54 runs scored. The Mordor Conference's best player of the month was Isengard's Olorin *Orithil, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. Olorin was on fire, hitting .433 with 4 homeruns and 19 RBI. Olorin is hitting .307 this year, with 95 hits in 309 at bats. He has driven in 47 runs, slugging .460.
