Bonedragger (GDL) and Hammershaker (NUM) win monthly pitcher award

MIDDLE EARTH - Dogush Bonedragger couldn't have pitched much better than he did in June, and the Shire Conference thought so as well, naming the right-hander Pitcher of the Month. His record of 4-0 in 5 was among the leagues best this month. In 32 innings of work he allowed just 19 hits while striking out 28, compiling an ERA of just 1.41. Opposing players hit .219 against Dogush this season. While posting an ERA of 2.84 he went 7-4 in 16 starts, fanning 73 and walking 30 hitters. Numenor's pitcher Prilak Hammershaker is the Mordor Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in June. He had an ERA of just 1.82 in 49.1 innings of work in which he struck out 39 hitters. His record in June is 4-0. Prilak also fired a shutout. His ERA of 2.16 helped him to a 13-2 record this year. He struck out 115 and walked 23 in 141.2 innings. He has 3 complete games and 2 shutouts. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!
