Stars acquire interdimensional player

GREY HAVENS - Here in Grey Havens, owner Lady Arwen makes the announcement of a new addition to the Grey Havens Stars, the long awaited Skeeve, "Kid Majic" Reese to her minor A league roster. Sleeve is quoted as saying, "I have always wanted to play in baseball, and then I heard about Tolkien Baseball, it's legendary! It has the greatest baseball teams in the universe.... other worlds have tried to imitate it... but it has never been duplicated anywhere I have been, and I have been to 12 different dimensions! This is the greatest honor of my life!"

Arwen’s comments were more subdued. "I was doubtful, at first, but he has spirit, and a willingness to learn all he can. Wants to try learn every position, then be a manager or owner someday... He’s got potential, for one so small, a lot of spirit...we have also adopted his pet dragon as our official team mascot. His dragon gives us a certain powerful feeling, they have great morale boosting qualities, not to mention the fear factor in defense. My players have all been feeling rather secure with him around the place. He has been well-behaved during our practices, and is reluctant to eat bipeds. His name is Glimmer and he has such a beautiful shining set of iridescent scales. The fire only occurs in the mating seasons, and he will remain in confinement during this time."

This reporter has her doubts, but who knows? Could be a great move on Arwen’s part, or another flash in the fire of the SGCBL. We will all just have to wait and see.
